New York Regional Sales Manager

The Yobo Spirit House is searching for a regional sales manager to help expand Yobo’s brands in the New York City market. Yobo’s portfolio is one of the most innovative Asian-American spirits in the industry. Included in the portfolio are KTOWN soju, a premium line of all-natural flavored soju, Yobo Soju Luxe, an award-winning ultra-premium soju made in California, Hunni Soju, a line of playful premium canned soju cocktails, and Kish Aperitif, a modern range of liqueur created by Kristen Kish, Top Chef winner and host. 

Soju is the largest selling spirit by volume in the world. Its explosive growth in the U.S. follows the momentum of Korean cuisine, flavors, music, and entertainment. The Regional Sales Manager will be an integral part of the category’s growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target new opportunities for both on and off-premised accounts
  • Nurture existing account relationships to drive ongoing growth
  • Provide brand/product education to accounts and staff
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship with clients and customers
  • Serve as an ambassador to Yobo’s brands and products
  • Develop strategies for regional and local field marketing
  • Engage with local communities 
  • Follow industry trends and serve as a subject matter expert 
  • Track sales accurate sales data and provide regular projections

Requirements: 

  • A minimum of two year’s experience in a similar position within the spirits/alcohol category
  • Tri-state resident with deep knowledge about its cities, towns, and neighborhoods
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • A proven seller with an existing track record
  • Strict adherence to responsible behavior around alcohol

Job Types:

  • Full-time or Part-Time (20 to 40 hours per week)

Salary:

  • $25.00 per hour base compensation plus commission, expenses, and bonus
