Scope
Last updated October 13, 2026.
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Local storage, pixels, tags, software-development tools, and embedded content can perform similar functions. This notice covers yobospirits.com and explains how YOBO’s Shopify-hosted checkout and account pages differ.
Exact lifetimes may vary when a provider changes its technology, you clear browser data, or browser settings shorten storage. We review this inventory as the Site changes.
02
Necessary technologies
These support core functions and are not controlled by the optional-cookie switches.
- YOBO age confirmation
yobo-age-confirmedin local storage remembers that you confirmed you are old enough to enter. It remains until browser storage is cleared.- YOBO privacy choice
yobo-cookie-consent-v2in local storage records the categories you selected, the consent version, and the time of the choice. It remains until browser storage is cleared or YOBO replaces the consent version.- Laravel session and security
- A session cookie and
XSRF-TOKENprotect requests, maintain the first-party session, and connect the cart to your visit. Session storage generally expires when the configured session period ends. - Shopify cart connection
- YOBO’s server communicates with Shopify’s Storefront API to retrieve products and maintain the Shopify cart identifier in the YOBO session. Shopify may receive request information, including an IP address, to provide commerce and fraud-prevention services.
03
Functional technologies
Functional permission enables optional features. The store finder requires both Functional and Analytics permission because its provider measures feature usage.
- Pour store finder
- When enabled, content from
find.pour.nowandscript.pour.nowdisplays nearby or shipping retailers. Pour may process IP-derived approximate location, a location or address you enter, and precise browser location only when you grant the browser’s geolocation permission.
04
Analytics technologies
When you allow Analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures visits, referral sources, pages viewed, searches, product interactions, device/browser information, and approximate location derived from network information. Common identifiers include _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which Google commonly retains for up to two years. YOBO configures Google signals and advertising personalization only when Marketing is also allowed. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
The Pour finder’s PostHog measurement is separately described above because it is loaded inside that optional feature.
05
Marketing technologies
When you allow Marketing, Google Ads may measure page views, product views, searches, cart additions, and checkout starts. Google may use _gcl_* identifiers and related technologies; retention is determined by Google and is commonly up to 90 days for conversion identifiers.
Marketing disclosures may be considered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising processing under some privacy laws. YOBO does not sell personal information for money. Marketing stays off when the Site receives a supported Global Privacy Control signal.
06
Shopify checkout and accounts
Checkout and customer-account pages are hosted by Shopify at YOBO subdomains. Shopify uses necessary technologies for localization, currency, cart, checkout, account security, fraud prevention, and order processing. Observed names include localization, cart_currency, and Shopify essential, analytics, and marketing identifiers. See Shopify’s Privacy Policy.
Those environments may also operate customer-event integrations configured in Shopify, including Google & YouTube, Facebook & Instagram, TikTok, Klaviyo, and Shopify Collabs. Their operation depends on Shopify’s customer-privacy controls and YOBO’s active configuration. Choices made on yobospirits.com may not automatically remove third-party storage previously created in a separate Shopify environment.
07
Your controls
You can reject non-essential technologies without losing access to ordinary Site content or checkout. Turning a category off prevents YOBO from loading it on future page views and attempts to remove accessible first-party Google identifiers. A third party may retain identifiers previously created under its own domain until they expire or you clear them through your browser.
